Tools for using the Web
For this i only really needed to download adobe reader and the offline browser/copier-webcopier as i already had the rest that i was asked to get.I found adobe is a great program for reading the pdf files and having it installed makes life easier now cause before i was having trouble reading sertain things on the net but now i have this installed im able to open up alot more stuff.
the webcopier browser is the one i chose i found it alot easier to understand and navigate,im still in the process of learning how to use it properly tho.But having said that i can see that it will be usful for web dsigner as they can get a page and edit it offline.
Searching the web
As weird as it sounds for this part of this task the word i chose to look up using google was "sex" mainly because even tho alot of people think its filth it would have to be the most used word in a search engine on the internet, and according the the hits i got i could be right lol because i ended up with 859,000,000 pages full of sites (Popular word ha).
After doing the above i used Copernic to do a search on the sound word and oddly enough i only got 68 results and from what i could tell most of the results were for romantic vacations and stuff rather than just flat porn sites like on the google search im not entirley sure why i only got 68 results maybe i didnt do the search right i dont know but its clear that google had the most results, which could be why its the most used search engine in the world.
Boolean searching task
I like this whole boolen things using or,and,not its kinda interesting to know that these simple words can change everything in a search. firstly i did a search for sex or porn and thinking i would get a more hits than last time i was shocked to only get about a million hits. next i used the "and" term yet again not as many results as the first time but still got a few well 4 million to be exact lol and last i use the "not" term. with this i did notice that the results were more sex heatlth and stuff than smut but still only got 1,400,000. But i will probably use the whole idea of boolean logic in the future.Organising search information task

The Reason i chose to use google is easy its cause i use google to search for everything really cause i find it an easy tool to use and usually has awsome search results.Evaluating the Web
This task i have to say did totally confuse me and i honestly dont know if this is right but i guess you have to give it a go and do your best right, basically the site im gonna anotate is Sex From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.The main sections of this site include biological sex,Sexual reproduction,Sex determination and Sexual dimorphism. The site is a basic description of the differant types of sex in the world from humans to anmials and plant life and is actually a very interesting read. From what i can tell the site was set up for research for people doing essays and such for school,uni or work.
1.in terms of your own future use, which 'body ' of information (ie. the original 'snapshot' of the site, or your own, annotated, analytical version) would be most useful to refer back to? I actually dont think theres a right or wrong answer to this question it all depends on the person but both are good the origanal giving the most information and your annotated version giving the basics of what you need. but me personally would use the snapshot just cause thats where all the info is.
2.In term of external users (i.e. if you included this site as a hyperlink or resource on a website) which body of information would best help them judge if the site was useful or of interest to them? I guess this would all depend of what the person was researching in the first place, but in regards to mine for example i would have the site hyperlink then anottated bit explaining what the site researches exactly.
